Composition of the fragrance
The fragrance opens with a vibrant burst of sophisticated combination of grapefruit, bergamot and Venezuelan tonka beans that spark the curiosity right from the start. This unconventional fusion of citrus and vanilla-like sweet tones is just a prelude to a generous floral heart. The sensuality of May rose and the unique note of geranium leaves are complemented with a magnetic trail of jasmine and daffodil. The base is centred around balsamic frankincense, soft musk, vanilla and sandalwood accords, and it is underlined by warm and earthy Indonesian patchouli.
Story of the fragrance
Chanel Coco Noir perfume was not inspired solely by its perfume predecessors – Chanel Coco and Chanel Coco Mademoiselle. But it was also created to evoke the grand romantic city of Venice and Venetian nights, baroque motifs and the thrill of travelling.
